The BPAC will serve as an integral part of the Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Trails Master Plan. To advise the City Council, Office of the Mayor and City staff on non-motorized transportation matters. To advise and recommend policies for the planning, development and maintenance of pedestrian and bikeway systems for safe and enjoyable circulation for both utilitarian commuting travel and recreation within the City. To ensure sensitivity to bicycle and pedestrian issues in the design and implementation of all Public Works projects which impact bicyclists and pedestrians.

The Bike Happy Foundation is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to educate, encourage and promote bicycling as a mode of transportation for people of all ages through a wide range of messages and mediums; to create and disseminate materials that support bicycle-friendly communities; to develop and execute events and event planning resources to support bicycle-friendly communities; and to generate sponsorships and execute fundraisers to fund these efforts.

FCBC Mission: To promote safe bicycling for everyday transportation and recreation in Fresno County through advocacy and education.

The California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) strives to eliminate traffic deaths and injuries. It does this by making available grants to local and state public agencies for programs that help them enforce traffic laws, educate the public in traffic safety, and provide varied and effective means of reducing fatalities, injuries and economic losses from collisions.
